How to make colorful bamboo leaf rice dumplings

Colorful basket leaf rice dumpling is a dish rich in nutritional value. It is easy to prepare, and the dish is colorful, fragrant and delicious. The taste is neither salty nor bland, just right. 1. Prepare the ingredients.

2. Wash the pork belly and cut into slices.

3. Marinate the pork belly: Put the pork belly in a clean bowl, add soy sauce, oyster sauce, cooking wine and a little salt, mix well, wrap with plastic wrap and put in the refrigerator to marinate overnight.

4. Wash the glutinous rice and soak it in water for four hours.

5. Cut off the thick part of the root at the front end of the colorful leaf and wash it clean.

6. Roll the colorful leaves into a circle and tie it with horsetail grass. Pour water into the pot and bring to a boil, add the pandan leaves and horsetail grass and cook for a while. The cooked pandan leaves will become flat and soft.

7. Pour off excess water from the soaked glutinous rice, add soy sauce, peanut oil and a little salt and mix well.

8. Take a colorful leaf, fold the front end in half and roll it into a cone shape.

9. Fold the other two-thirds of the way into a cone shape and fix it in the middle with your hands.

10. Take a piece of clam leaf and lay it flat, put a piece of marinated pork belly in the middle, and fold the four sides of the leaf to wrap the pork belly.

11. Add two spoonfuls of glutinous rice to both ends of the rolled pandan leaves and place a piece of wrapped pork belly in the middle.

12. Fold the two ends of the cone in half, tighten and pinch it to make a square rice dumpling. Tie the two ends of the rice dumpling tightly with horseweed and cut off the excess part of the tail of the colorful leaf.

13. Place the wrapped dumplings flatly in the pot, add water to cover the surface of the dumplings, cover them with a round plate, bring to a boil over high heat and cook for 2 hours.

14. Follow the above method to wrap the shrimp and pork dumplings.
