How to make Hua Kai Fu Gui (red oil bean curd)

1. Cut the bean curd sheets diagonally into rhombus-shaped strips.

2. Prepare the soaked bean curd sheets and red pepper.

3. Remove the leaves from the whole vegetable, leaving the stems for later use, cut the red pepper into circles, and cut the cucumber head into small round slices.

4. Use a knife to carve the vegetable stems into flowers (see previous recipe for details).

5. Boil water in a pot, add salt and oil, then put in bean curd sheets, vegetable stalks, and red pepper rings and blanch them.

6. Remove from the water and cool.

7. Place a red pepper ring in the center of the plate and top it with cauliflower.

8. Place the bean curd sheets around.

9. Arrange 4 cucumber slices symmetrically.

10. Place the red pepper rings on the cucumber slices.

11. Take a small bowl and mix all the seasonings into juice.

12. Pour the mixture evenly on the bamboo shoots, and place vegetable leaves and small red peppers on top for decoration.

Even children as young as 6 or 7 years old can learn how to make "Flowers Blossom with Fortune" (beancurd sticks in red oil), so do you understand?
