How to make the lucky golden pig buns

Enjoying delicious food is a part of our life. We should not just eat out casually on normal days. If conditions permit, it is better to cook at home. After all, this can ensure hygiene and is good for health. The method of making lucky golden pig steamed buns is simple, and it is also a dish that many nutrition experts like very much.

1. Wash the pumpkin, peel it, remove the pulp, slice it, and put it in the microwave on high heat for 4 minutes.

2. When the pumpkin is cooked, use a spoon to mash it into a paste, let it cool down a little, and put it in a bowl with flour and yeast.

3. Use chopsticks to stir until it becomes a large cotton ball.

4. Knead the dough, cover with plastic wrap, and let it ferment in a warm place until it doubles in size.

5. Put the fermented dough on the dough board and knead it evenly. Take a part and cut it into egg-sized pieces. Then cut it into a few small pieces.

6. Take a piece of dough and knead it into a round shape to make a pig's head

7. Roll one of the small dough into an oval shape to make the pig's nose; roll the other dough into a thinner oval shape and cut it in the middle to make the pig's ears.

8. Use chopsticks to dip in water and fix the pig's nose and ears on the pig's head.

9. Use chopsticks to poke two holes in the nose

10. Stick black sesame seeds on the eyes to make eyes (also dip in water)

11. Do it one by one, cover with a wet cloth and ferment for 15 minutes

12. Bring the steamer to a boil and place the golden pigs in it, leaving some space between them.

13. Steam for 20 minutes after the water starts to boil, then turn off the heat and simmer for three minutes before uncovering the pot. It’s out of the pot!
