How to make white steamed buns (wheat steamed buns)

No one can resist the temptation of delicious food. White steamed buns (wheat steamed buns) are a dish that makes people drool. Unlike heavy-flavored dishes, the ingredients for this dish are very simple to prepare, but when it is cooked, it is delicious and fragrant, and it is a fine dish suitable for home use.

1. Mix the flour, baking powder and sugar evenly, add water and stir until it becomes cotton-like, then start kneading the dough.

2. Knead the dough for about 15 minutes until it becomes a smooth dough.

3. Cover with plastic wrap and start fermenting. It will take about 45 minutes in summer until it is twice as large and has holes on the surface.

4. Continue kneading the dough for about 15 minutes, knead it into long oval strips, and cut it as shown in the picture below. Cover and let it rise for about 15 minutes. Steam in cold water for about 20 minutes. After turning off the heat, continue to simmer for 5 minutes before removing from the pot.
