How to make scallion soda crackers (savory crackers)

Going home and cooking a delicious meal after the hustle and bustle is over is a very romantic and happy thing. You don’t need to prepare too many seasonings, just prepare onions, ginger and garlic. Add a little vinegar for seasoning when serving. This scallion soda biscuit (salty biscuit) is ready.

1. Heat the milk in water until it is slightly warm to the touch, then turn off the heat and pour in the yeast and stir well (set aside for later use)

2. Put the low-gluten flour into a slightly larger container and add baking soda

3. Add salt

4. Add vegetable oil

5. Add the pure milk mixed with yeast before

6. Use a spatula to blend them together, add the chives and knead them into a ball with your hands (you can also do it directly without a spatula)

7. Knead the dough until it is smooth and free of particles, then cover it with a layer of plastic wrap and let it rest for 30 minutes.

8. After 30 minutes, take out the dough and knead it on a silicone mat for a few times. Then use a rolling pin to roll it into thin slices, and then cut it into strips with a knife.

9. Cut the strips into small pieces and poke two rows of holes in the small pieces with a fork.

10. After completing the above steps, place the biscuits in the baking tray and let them sit for 10 minutes. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.

11. After about ten minutes, put the biscuits into the preheated oven and bake for ten minutes (the specific temperature and time can be adjusted according to your own oven)
