1. It is best to choose meat with a little fat. Chop and mince into minced meat.

2. Chop the green onion and add it to the minced meat.

3. Add a quail egg. I have less meat so I add quail eggs. If you have more meat, you can add chicken eggs or more quail eggs.

4. If feeding it to a baby, add baby soy sauce and reduce the amount of other seasonings appropriately. For older children or adults, just add normal seafood soy sauce.

5. Add chicken essence.

6. Add salt, thirteen spices and other seasonings according to your taste.

7. Stir the minced meat clockwise until it is firm and set aside to absorb the flavor.

8. The lotus root should be processed last, otherwise it will oxidize and change color. Wash and peel the lotus root and chop it into foam.

9. Fork the lotus root foam. Then filter the lotus root foam and separate it into lotus root residue and lotus root juice for later use.

10. Put the lotus root residue into the minced meat and pour the lotus root juice into the flour bowl.

11. Add a small amount of oil to the minced meat. It can be peanut oil, corn oil, olive oil, walnut oil, whatever you like. If the filling is too dry, you can add lotus root juice or water.

12. The lotus root juice batter should be very thick, and it should flow down slowly when picked up with chopsticks.

13. Add lotus root filling into the batter.

14. Grease the electric baking pan, wrap the lotus root meatballs in the thick batter, and fry them in the pan. In fact, this step can be fried. I am feeding it to my baby and don't want to fry it in too much oil.

15. Turn on both the upper and lower heat, and be sure to cover the lid while frying, otherwise the meat filling will not be cooked.

16. Part of the lotus root filling can be rolled into balls, coated with white sesame seeds, pressed into cakes, and fried or deep-fried.

17. Fry until both sides are golden brown and the meat is cooked.
