3. People with liver and kidney yin deficiency should take Fuling Decoction with caution. The Chinese medicine of Smilax glabra caused allergic reaction, itching of the skin all over the body, and scattered erythematous papules of different sizes. No allergic symptoms occurred after removing the wild yam from the original formula, but if the wild yam was added back, the allergic symptoms reappeared.

Who should not consume Fuling Decoction?

1. People with weak spleen and stomach should not consume Poria soup.

2. People with liver and kidney yin deficiency should not take it.

3. Because Chinese yam is cold in nature, it needs to be neutralized with warm wolfberry.

4. Taking too much wild yam will damage the spleen and stomach. Also, all medicines are toxic, so don't take medicinal food for no reason.

5. Wild yam and wolfberry root have high requirements for spleen and stomach function. It is best not to eat them every day. It is best to cook them once one to two weeks. Children and people with weak spleen and stomach, such as the elderly with poor physical constitution, should not eat wild yam and wolfberry heads.
