How to eat lentils

Lentils are a common vegetable and many people like to eat them. Of course, the nutritional value of lentils is relatively high, and the taste is completely different from other vegetables. Therefore, many people will buy lentils to eat. There are many ways to cook lentils, such as scrambled eggs with lentils, stir-fried lentil shreds, and stir-fried lentils with meat. 1. Scrambled Eggs with Lentils

Ingredients: 350 grams of lentils, 3 eggs, appropriate amount of shrimp paste, 1 dried chili, appropriate amount of chopped onion, ginger and salt.

Preparation:

1. Wash the lentils, remove the old tendons, cut into thin strips, blanch in boiling water until the color turns dark green, remove into cold water, wait until the lentil strips are completely cool, then remove and drain for later use.

2. Crack the eggs into a bowl, add appropriate amount of shrimp paste and beat evenly (if there is no shrimp paste, you can omit it and it will also taste good), and set aside.

3. Cut the dried chili into shreds.

Steps:

1. Heat the wok, add appropriate amount of oil, pour in the egg liquid when the oil is hot, fry until cooked, and set aside.

2. Pour a proper amount of oil into the wok again, add the shredded chili peppers and chopped green onion and ginger and stir-fry over low heat until fragrant. Then add the shredded lentils and stir-fry evenly, then add salt to taste.

3. After the lentil shreds are cooked, pour in the fried eggs and stir-fry evenly (you can also add some garlic at this time), then remove from the pan.

2. Stir-fried Lentil Shreds

Ingredients: Lentils; Garlic cloves

1. Cut the lentils into shreds and smash the garlic cloves into small pieces.

2. Boil a pot of water, add a teaspoon of salt and a few drops of oil. After the water boils, add the shredded lentils and blanch them, then remove from the water and rinse with cold water.

3. Add oil to the wok, sauté the minced garlic, then add the shredded lentils and stir-fry quickly.

4. Add salt to taste, serve and enjoy!

3. Stir-fried lentils and meat

Ingredients: tenderloin; lentils; shredded ginger; scallions; salt; chicken stock;

1. Slice the tenderloin, mix with a spoonful of oyster sauce and a spoonful of cooking wine; then add a spoonful of salad oil, mix well and marinate for 10 minutes.

2. While the meat is marinating, wash and drain the lentils; cut them diagonally into small pieces.

3. Heat the pan and pour in salad oil. When the oil is warm, add shredded ginger and scallion segments and stir-fry until fragrant. Pour in the pork tenderloin slices and stir-fry quickly until the surface changes color. Remove from the pan and set aside. Pour in the lentils and stir-fry over high heat with the remaining oil in the pan.

4. Pour in a little water and simmer for two minutes; pour in the fried tenderloin slices prepared in step 5, stir-fry for a few times, add salt and chicken essence, stir-fry evenly, and serve.
