1. Use the amount of self-raising flour according to the number of people eating it

2.1 Add dry self-raising flour and knead into dough, then wrap with plastic wrap and let stand. The resting time can be used to make the filling.

3.2 To make the dough rise, pour warm water at about 30° into the self-raising flour (warm water is needed in winter, and cold water can be added directly in summer), knead the dough evenly, and don’t make it too dry at this time. Then add water to the pot and heat it to about 35° (not too hot to burn your hands), put the basin in the hot water and cover the pot. After 2 hours, the dough will ferment on its own. As shown in the picture, you will see small holes in the dough. The more holes there are, the better, which means the dough is well fermented.

4.1 Prepare your favorite fillings. I made two flavors.

5.2 Prepare the fillings according to your personal taste. I used minced meat, dried shrimps, king oyster mushrooms, black fungus, carrots, and dried tofu, diced, to prepare a filling. The other type is pure meat filling with chopped green onions. Add salt, MSG, chicken essence and pepper to season.

6. Divide the dough into small balls and roll them into sheets. I don’t like them too thin, so I roll them thicker.

7. Wrap it into shape.

8. Steam for about 15 minutes.
