The amount of water really depends on experience, but you can add it in the middle. And it should be noted that pumpkin will release water. After the steamer is turned on, put the pumpkin in the pot and steam it over high heat for half an hour until it is cooked. Anyway, try it. If it's not cooked, just steam it for a while.
