12. Continue to cover and simmer on low heat.

13. While waiting for the rice to cook, you can start preparing the sauce. Chop the garlic and onion, add one spoon of light soy sauce, one spoon of dark soy sauce and two spoons of broth and stir well.

14. After about 6 or 7 minutes, remove the lid and pour the sauce over the rice.

15. Turn off the heat, cover the lid, and simmer for another 2 minutes.

16. A pot of fragrant baby vegetable and bacon rice is ready~~.
