Tomato red beef stew recipe

1. Wash the beef brisket and cut it into pieces

3. Change to another pot of water, bring it to a boil, pour in the blanched beef brisket, add appropriate amount of scallion, ginger, star anise, bay leaves, salt, sugar, dark soy sauce (a little bit), cooking wine, cover the pot after it boils, and simmer on medium heat for 1 hour

4. Chop potatoes, carrots, tomatoes and onions into pieces and set aside

5. Heat the iron pan, pour in a little oil, add the potato cubes and stir-fry for a while

6. Fry the carrots in oil (just until they are slightly soft), and finally fry the onions (frying the vegetables in advance can reduce the cooking time and make them taste more fragrant. Frying the carrots in oil can further stimulate the nutrients in them)

7. After the pan is hot, pour a little oil, add the chopped tomatoes, stir-fry for a while, and it is best to become tomato sauce.

8. Pour in the stewed beef and beef soup, then pour in potatoes, carrots, add appropriate amount of salt, sugar, chicken essence, tomato sauce, cover and simmer for half an hour. When it is almost cooked, add onions and cook for another 5 minutes. When the soup is thick, you can serve it on a plate.
