Chicken and yam porridge recipe

Many modern people spend their days in a hurry, have irregular meals and almost always eat out. On the surface it may seem like a hassle-free experience, but from a health perspective it is a very bad habit. Caring for your health starts with diet. When it comes to diet, it starts with yourself. So below I will first introduce the method of making chicken and yam porridge.

1. Prepare the ingredients. Wash the yam and peel the carrot.

2. Wash the japonica rice several times and soak it in clean water for half an hour.

3. Put the rice into the casserole, add enough water, bring to a boil over medium heat, then turn to low heat.

4. Mince the ginger and cut the carrot into small cubes.

5. Chop the chicken into fine pieces until it becomes puree.

6. Put some oil in a frying pan and stir-fry the minced ginger first.

7. Add the minced chicken and stir-fry until the steam comes out.

8. After the rice has been stewed for about half an hour, add the fried minced chicken into the casserole and stir.

9. Peel the yam, cut into cubes, rinse with water and remove the mucus.

10. Add diced yam to the casserole and stir.

11. Add yam and simmer for about 20 minutes.

12. Pour in carrot cubes

13. Add carrots and simmer for about 10 minutes, add salt and pepper.

14. Turn off the heat and simmer for 5 minutes before serving.

15. Add some chopped or shredded green onion to garnish or as a seasoning.
