Stir-fried stinky tofu with green pepper

Chili is a kind of vegetable that most people are familiar with. Some chili are spicy and some are not, so when buying chili, you can choose according to your needs, because everyone has different requirements for chili. The main thing about chili is the flavor inside. It is also good to stir-fry stinky tofu with chili. The spicy taste can cover up the peculiar smell in the stinky tofu, making it taste more fragrant.

Ingredients

Stinky tofu, green peppers, red pepper shells, garlic, oyster sauce (essential), light soy sauce, pepper salt, and MSG (optional).

Preparation method

1. Cut the stinky tofu diagonally into two small triangles;

2. Heat oil in a pan and fry the stinky tofu;

3. When one side is golden brown, turn it over and fry the other side;

4. When both sides turn golden brown and the tofu swells up a bit, take it out;

5. Use oil-absorbing paper to absorb all the oil on the tofu;

6. Chop the green pepper, retain the seeds, crush the garlic, and chop the red pepper shell;

7. Leave some oil in the pot, add garlic and red pepper shells and stir-fry over low heat until fragrant;

8. Pour in chopped green peppers, stir-fry, and add oyster sauce to season;

9. Finally, pour in the stinky tofu, add soy sauce and MSG, stir well, sprinkle some pepper and salt, and serve.

1. Taste the saltiness of the stinky tofu first, then add seasoning. The stinky tofu I bought was already quite salty, so I stopped adding salt and instead added oyster sauce and light soy sauce to bring out the flavor.

Instructions for use

The flesh of green peppers is thick, crisp and tender, and rich in vitamin C. The green fruit contains about 93.9% water, about 3.8% carbohydrates, and vitamin C; the ripe red fruit contains up to 460 mg of vitamin C. It can be eaten cold, stir-fried, boiled, used as stuffing, pickled, and processed into cans and preserves.
