How to make country style steamed pork

Countryside steamed pork with rice flour is a dish that many housewives can make. There are many ways to prepare this dish, and different cooking methods will produce different flavors. 1. Prepare some fatty pork belly.

2. Cut the meat into large slices 3mm thick.

3. Add soy sauce, a little salt and five-spice powder, mix well and marinate for more than an hour. If you have enough time, marinate it for a longer time to make it more flavorful.

4. Prepare 200 grams of long-grain glutinous rice, put it in a pan without adding oil, and stir-fry over low heat until it turns slightly yellow. If the fire is too big, it will get burnt.

5. Crush the fried glutinous rice in a food processor. Because I don’t like completely broken rice noodles, I use a grinding trough to grind them. Don’t grind them too finely so that they taste better.

6. Pour in a certain amount of water and mix well; then leave it for fifteen minutes until the water is absorbed by the rice flour, then add a small amount of water again and mix well. Adding water in batches can avoid the problem of being too dry or too wet. The steamed pork with rice flour will taste good when it is neither too dry nor too wet, and the glutinous rice flour can also stick to the meat slices more evenly.

7. Pour glutinous rice flour into the marinated meat slices, sprinkle a little red yeast rice powder and mix well.

8. Place the pot in an electric pressure cooker and steam it for 20 minutes.

9. After 10 minutes, open the lid and turn the steamed pork with rice flour to bring the one at the bottom up.

10. Steam it for about 20 minutes more and it will be done. The oil from the fat will be completely steamed out and the glutinous rice will absorb the aroma of the lard and become more fragrant.

Eating too much condiments in restaurants for a long time is not good for your health. The method of making country steamed pork with rice flour is simple and does not require any condiments, so it is guaranteed to be healthy.
