How to make homemade shishito jam

1. Peel the apples, core them and chop them.

2. Peel the tomatoes and chop them.

3. Rub the lemon peel with salt and wash it. Use a knife to scrape the transparent yellow peel on the surface. The thinner the better, and then chop it into pieces.

4. Squeeze half of the remaining lemon and make lemonade for later use. (The remaining unused portion can be soaked in lemon water)

5. Put chopped apples, chopped tomatoes, chopped lemon peel and sugar into the bread machine bucket, mix well and marinate for 15 minutes. Add a little salt, starch, lemon juice, adjust the jam setting and start the process. It takes more than an hour, but just leave it there until the bell rings and the lemon-scented jelly is ready.

6. Boil the bottles in boiling water to sterilize them, put the jam in them and let them cool, then store them in the refrigerator.
