Ingredients: 300g soft tofu

Ingredients: some oil, some bean paste, some cooking oil, some sugar, some chopped green onion

Production steps

1. Prepare the ingredients

2. Cut the tofu into small pieces, about the size of a thumb.

3. Boil water in a pot and add salt

4. Boil the chopped tofu for 5 minutes

5. Rinse the cooked tofu with cold water and drain.

6. Cut the green onion whites and green onion leaves into chopped green onions

7 Heat a proper amount of oil in a wok, add the scallion and sauté until fragrant

8 Add appropriate amount of bean paste and mix well, add appropriate amount of sugar to neutralize the taste

9. Mix the bean paste and pour in appropriate amount of water

10 Add appropriate amount of oyster sauce

11 Add the blanched tofu, bring to a boil over high heat, cover the pot and simmer for 5 minutes

12 Open the lid and cook over high heat until the sauce thickens. Add chicken stock and sprinkle with chopped green onions.

Tips

1. Although it is easier to use northern tofu, I think tender tofu tastes better. Don't cut the tofu into too small pieces.

2. Actually, in step 9, you should put the tofu in first and then the water. However, because I wanted to take a photo and was afraid that the pot would burn, I adjusted the steps.

3. If you like spicy food, you can add an appropriate amount of chili pepper, and the taste will be very similar to Mapo Tofu.
