How to make fancy hawthorn bread

1. Put all the ingredients except butter into the bread machine bucket, and put the baking powder on top! Use the dough function to mix!

2. After kneading for a quarter of an hour, add butter and continue kneading!

3. Stop once in the middle, restart and continue stirring. It will take about half an hour to forty minutes in total and it will be like this. Gently pull it open to form a thin film!

4. Place it in the bread machine and ferment until it doubles in size!

5. Take out and knead evenly to release the air. Cover with plastic wrap and relax for fifteen minutes!

6. Add chopped hawthorn strips to the relaxed dough!

7. Knead the hawthorn into the dough and mix well!

8. Divide the dough into strips of equal size!

9. Stretch both ends and twist them slightly!

10. Cross both ends!

11. Take one end out from the bottom and the other end out from the top, or make it into any shape!

12. The finished flower shape!

13. After the shaping is completed, put it into the oven for secondary fermentation at 30 degrees for 40 minutes. Put a bowl of boiling water in the oven to increase the humidity and temperature!

14. Ferment until it is twice as large and serve!

15. Brush with egg liquid, preheat the oven in advance, and bake on the bottom layer at 180 degrees for 20 minutes!

16. Remove from oven, let cool and serve on a plate!
