How to make baked sweet potatoes in the oven

1. Wash the sweet potatoes and wipe them dry or drain the water on the surface naturally. It is recommended to choose the medium to small, long and narrow ones, which are easier to ripen.

2. Place the drained sweet potatoes on the baking rack and put them in the oven. The oven is the kind with a baking tray, so remember to put the oven bottom tray in, otherwise the sugar and oil from the sweet potato will drip onto the bottom of the oven and be difficult to clean. Or if you use a baking rack, you must cover the baking rack with tin foil, or wrap the sweet potatoes directly in tin foil and bake them to prevent the oil from the sweet potatoes from dripping into the oven.

3. Turn off the oven, select upper and lower heating, temperature 230 degrees, time 20 minutes.

4. After 20 minutes, take out the sweet potato, turn it over, put it back into the oven and continue baking for 20 minutes. This allows for more even heating.
