1. Material selection

3. Drying/cutting

Remove from the heat and let cool. After peeling, cut into slices or strips of your choice and flatten. Flatten and dry in the sun, the dried sweet potatoes made in this way are very sweet and delicious!

Tips: Cover and keep it steamed after steaming, and then dry it the next day. It will be sweeter, but the color will be a little darker.

A clever way to dry sweet potatoes without drying them in the sun

If you want to be lazy, you can make delicious dried sweet potatoes without drying them in the sun. Specific practices include:

1. Cut the prepared sweet potato into two halves, then put it into the steamer, add appropriate amount of water and stew it for about ten minutes. If you are not sure, you can also use chopsticks to check the maturity of the sweet potato. If you can penetrate the sweet potato directly, it means it is cooked.

2. Take out the cooked sweet potato, put it on the chopping board and wait until it cools down, then peel the sweet potato skin with your hands. Do not ignore this step, because the sweet potato skin tastes bad. Or before steaming the sweet potato, you can peel the sweet potato skin directly, which is more convenient and saves trouble. Then cut the sweet potato into strips for later use.

3. Then put the cut sweet potatoes on the baking tray. In order to prevent the sweet potatoes from sticking to the tray, it is best to put a layer of tin foil on the baking tray first. This will not only prevent the sweet potatoes from sticking to the tray, but also allow the sweet potatoes to be heated more evenly. Put them in the oven at 150 degrees and bake for about 30 minutes. The nutritious and delicious dried sweet potatoes are ready. If you like them a little drier, you can continue to bake for 30 minutes, but it still depends on your taste.
