Century Egg Tofu
Century Egg Tofu Recipe (with pictures and 15 steps). Ingredients: Seasonings include five-spice powder, pepper, sesame seeds, soy sauce, chili oil, minced garlic, chopped green onions, and cilantro.

Method
- 01
Step 1
Prepare the following ingredients and seasonings: five-spice powder, pepper powder, sesame seeds, soy sauce, chili oil, minced garlic, chopped green onions, and cilantro.

- 02
Step 2
Tip for taking out tofu: Turn the tofu box upside down and remove one corner.

- 03
Step 3
Cut open the front and sides of the tofu packaging with a knife and peel off the protective film.

- 04
Step 4
Invert the tofu onto a plate, preferably a square one, as it's well-suited for holding tofu. (Aesthetic Viewpoint)

- 05
Step 5
Gently squeeze the area around the shell; a little air will cause it to detach automatically. This time it didn't detach perfectly, so just take a look.

- 06
Step 6
Use a knife to slice directly onto the plate, cutting into thin rectangles.

- 07
Step 7
Peel the preserved egg, first cut it in half lengthwise, then cut each half in half again lengthwise. After cutting it into strips, slice it crosswise into pieces. Preserved eggs are quite sticky and can easily stick to the knife, so here's a little trick: wet the knife blade or apply sesame oil before cutting!

- 08
Step 8
Arrange the preserved eggs on top of the tofu and sprinkle with pepper.

- 09
Step 9
Sprinkle with five-spice powder and sugar.

- 10
Step 10
Add minced garlic and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

- 11
Step 11
Sprinkle with chicken powder; I used MSG instead.

- 12
Step 12
And chopped green onions

- 13
Step 13
Drizzle with soy sauce and chili oil

- 14
Step 14
Rotate the plate to evenly distribute the sauce on the bottom.

- 15
Step 15
Let's get started!
