How to make braised pork elbow

1. Prepare the seasoning (I forgot to take pictures of sugar and cucumber)

2.1Put the pork elbow in boiling water and boil for 5 minutes.

3.2 Prepare the bay leaves, cinnamon and star anise. Use a knife to scrape the skin off the pork elbow, rinse it with water and set aside. (When buying the pork elbow, ask the boss to spray it with a flamethrower a few times)

4.1 Put oil, salt, light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, chicken essence, vinegar, sugar, bay leaves, cinnamon, star anise into the casserole, then pour in enough water to cover the elbow.

5.2 Cut the boiled pork elbow into two large pieces and put them into the casserole.

6.1 During the stewing process, turn the elbow over every once in a while to make sure every part of the elbow is evenly seasoned.

7.2 After all the ingredients are prepared, start to stew the pork elbow. Turn the heat to medium-high, turn the water to low, and cook for 1.5 hours.

8. After 1.5 hours, the pork elbow is ready, turn off the heat.

9. Put the pork elbow on a plate and let it cool.

10. Take a plate, cut the cucumber into round slices, arrange them on the edge of the plate, and set aside.

11. Place the pork elbow until it is not too hot to touch, slice it, arrange it on a plate, and drizzle it with appropriate amount of marinade. The fragrant pork elbow is ready, let's eat it!
