How to make honey sauce small triangle dried tofu

Food is vital to our human body and is closely related to our life. A good diet can prolong your life. On the contrary, a bad diet can take away our precious lives. So, what constitutes a good diet? I guess I have to at least do it myself. Now, let me introduce to you the cooking method of honey-glazed small triangular dried tofu.

1. Wash and drain the dried tofu, cut into small triangles with a side length of about 1.5cm--2cm. If the cuts are too big, they will fall apart easily. (The dried tofu should be original, not smoked, or spiced.)

2.1 Pour a little more oil into the pot, add the rock sugar when the oil temperature is not too hot, and stir-fry over low heat. It will easily get burnt if the heat is too high.

3.2 Prepare a frying pan and add some oil to the bottom of the pan, but not too much (about the amount you would normally use to stir-fry vegetables). When the oil is 50% hot, add the chopped tofu and gently shake the pan to spread the tofu evenly on the bottom of the pan. You can also use a spatula to gently stir it. Fry over medium-low heat until both sides are golden brown, then set aside.

4.1 After coating both sides with sugar color, pour in dark soy sauce and a little salt and stir fry

5.2 After saccharification, pour in the dried tofu.

6. Add a star anise and stir fry.

7. Add half bowl of water. Just make it level with the tofu. Don't add too much

8. Cover with lid and simmer on low heat for a few minutes, turning twice in the middle. When the water is almost dry and only a little water is left, turn to high heat and cook until the sauce is reduced. When there is no water in the pot, add white sesame seeds and mix well. Turn off the heat.

9. Serve and it will taste better after it cools down.
