How to make a nutritional hodgepodge

1.12 Soak the mushrooms and kelp, and soak the vermicelli in clean water for fifteen minutes. Add light soy sauce, cooking wine, shredded ginger and salt to the pork belly slices and marinate for about 20 minutes. Wash all the ingredients and cut them into the shapes you like, making sure to keep the cabbage leaves and stalks separate.

2.21 Drain the tofu and fry it in oil so that it will not fall apart when stewed.

5. Add the fermented bean paste and stir-fry until fragrant. Note that you can turn down the heat as the fermented bean paste is easier to burn. That way the taste will be compromised, and the appearance will not be good.

6. Add the pork belly slices and stir-fry until the meat changes color.

7. Add kelp, cauliflower and other cook-resistant foods, bay leaves, cinnamon, aniseed, peppercorns and light soy sauce. Add a bowl of boiling water, enough to just cover the food.

8. Cook for about ten minutes, then add the cabbage stalks, mushrooms, and vermicelli. Taste the flavor and add appropriate amount of salt and chicken essence.

9. Add cabbage leaves and tofu and continue stewing. Just add a little MSG before serving.

10. It’s ready. Serve it on a plate with a bowl of fragrant rice. Let’s eat.
