How to make chicken stewed with taro

A healthy diet can prolong a person’s life. So, how can we use “eating” to prolong our life? You still have to achieve it by yourself. Now, I will introduce the method of stewing chicken with fragrant taro.

1. Kill the chicken, clean it, and cut it in half. Peel and clean the taro, then slice it.

2. Take a casserole, add appropriate amount of water, ginger slices, green onion knots, star anise, cinnamon and cooking wine.

3. Put the chicken in, blanch for 1 minute, remove and rinse.

4. Replace with clean water, add ginger slices, scallion knots, star anise, cinnamon, cooking wine, bring to a boil, add the chicken, bring to a boil over high heat, and simmer over low heat for 60 minutes.

5. Add the taro, bring to a boil over high heat, then simmer over low heat until the taro is cooked.

6. Add salt and simmer for 5 minutes.

7. Skim off the floating oil and add some chicken essence.
