How to make ketchup for French fries

The method of making ketchup for French fries is the same as that of making ordinary ketchup. First, wash the tomatoes, then peel them, boil them over low heat, add an appropriate amount of rock sugar, and you can also put a lemon. The prepared ketchup can be paired with freshly fried French fries, and it tastes very good. Eating some French fries in moderation is good for your body, but you can't eat too much, as fried French fries are high in calories.

How to make ketchup for French fries

1. Wash and peel the potatoes, cut into slices of uniform thickness, and then cut into strips.

2. Soak the potato strips in water for a few minutes. Bring an appropriate amount of water to a boil, add the potato strips and cook for about three minutes.

3. Remove from the water, let it cool, and put it in the refrigerator for 2 hours. You can use kitchen paper to absorb the moisture and then put it in the refrigerator to freeze. (Make sure to dry it out before putting it in the refrigerator.)

4. After the potato strips are frozen, they can be fried anytime.

5. Put a proper amount of oil in the pot, heat it to 60% hot, then put in the frozen French fries and fry until golden brown, then remove from the oil. Sprinkle a little salt when eating and dip it in ketchup.

6. Remove from the oil and drain. Sprinkle with salt and black pepper and serve with tomato sauce.

How to make tomato sauce: 1. Make a cross on tomatoes and blanch them in boiling water. Peel the skin of the tomatoes and cut them into pieces.

2. Put the chopped tomatoes into a blender and blend them into a puree. Pour the pureed tomato into a small soup pot.

3. Add rock sugar to the tomato puree in the pot. After the pot boils, turn to low heat and simmer until it becomes slightly thick. Stir constantly during the process to prevent it from sticking to the pot.

4. When it becomes thick and sauce-like, squeeze in lemon juice and continue to cook for 2-3 minutes.

Storage of tomato sauce 1. Lemon is a good antioxidant and can extend the shelf life of tomato sauce. 2. It is recommended to use a heat-resistant glass container with a sealed lid when storing ketchup. Wash it with boiling water before use and keep the bottle dry. 3. When taking jam from the bottle, use a clean, water-free spoon. It is best to take as much as you want and tighten the bottle cap after taking it out. 4. Homemade ketchup can be stored in the refrigerator for 7 days.
