How to make Taiwanese braised pork

1. Take a piece of pork belly, cut it into squares, and soak it in clean water for half a day to remove blood and fishy smell.

2.1 Wash the pork belly and cut two cuts on each side with a knife.

3.2 Prepare garlic, rock sugar, cardamom, star anise and fermented tofu, cut green onion into sections and ginger into slices.

5.2 Blanch in boiling water.

6. Add appropriate amount of soy sauce to the fermented tofu and crush it with a spoon.

7. Add the blanched meat, fermented bean curd sauce and rice wine.

8. Cover the pot, bring to a boil over high heat, then simmer over low heat.

9. Serve until the soup becomes thick. The meat cube with fermented bean curd is not greasy at all, it is soft, salty and fragrant, and melts in your mouth. It is an absolute rice killer.
