How to make fancy date rolls

A healthy diet can prolong a person’s life. So, how can we use “eating” to prolong our life? You still have to achieve it by yourself. Now, I will introduce the method of making fancy date rolls.

1. Prepare 800 grams of flour, 10 grams of Angel yeast, and add 3 teaspoons of white sugar, so that the dough will rise faster.

2. Look, the dough is ready. As the saying goes, the dough should be shiny, the basin should be shiny, and the hands should be shiny. It’s not bad, right?

3. Put the noodles in a warm place to ferment. While you are free, we will process the dates. Wash them and boil them in boiling water for 3 minutes to let the dates spit out white foam. This way, they will taste good when steamed!

4. My house has floor heating. I put the basin on the ground. After two and a half hours, the dough is ready. Poke a hole in the middle and it will be fine as long as it doesn’t shrink!

5. Knead the dough into small doughs of appropriate size

6. Roll it into small round cakes. Make sure it is not too thin, but thicker so that it will taste better when steamed.

7. Put a few dates on the lower half. The dates in my house are bigger, so 3 are enough.

8. Then cover the upper half

9. Place another date in the gap of the first layer.

10. Then fold it in half and organize it

11. Process everything in order, line up, and take a photo.

12. Put the pot on the stove. I use an induction cooker, 1500W. Cook it for 10 minutes after it starts to steam. Wait for 3 minutes after turning off the heat before opening the lid.

13. I opened the lid of the pot, and the flower-shaped date rolls smiled at me.

14. Look at these four date rolls. The first three are from the upper drawer, and the flat one is from the lower drawer, which is obviously suppressed.

15. Whoever makes porridge at home, let’s eat it together!
