How to make steamed spareribs with fermented bean curd and tofu

1. Soak the ribs in water or blanch them quickly to remove the blood. Because they are taken out of the refrigerator, I blanch them to remove the snow taste. Mash the fermented bean curd and mix it with the ribs. Add a small spoonful of brown sugar, ginger slices, and a tablespoon of cooking wine and marinate for more than 2 hours.

2.1 After the ribs are marinated, coat each piece of ribs with a thin layer of starch

3.2 After the frozen tofu is thawed, squeeze out the water and slice it into mahjong-sized pieces, about 1.2 cm thick.

4. Put the frozen tofu at the bottom of the plate and put the spareribs on top of the frozen tofu.

5. Finally, add two tablespoons of fermented bean curd sauce and pour evenly over the pickled juice.

6. Steam in a steamer for about 25 minutes until the ribs are easy to separate from the bones, sprinkle with chopped green onions and diced red peppers and serve.
