Low gluten flour: 110g

Sugar: 40g

Butter: 40g

Baking soda: 16 tsp

Cooking Steps

1: sift the low-gluten flour;

2: Mix evenly with sugar;

3: Put the softened butter into the flour and rub it into coarse cornmeal with your hands;

4: Add baking soda to yogurt and mix well, then add to 3, cut and mix well with a rubber spatula;

5: Grab it into a ball with your hands;

6: Divide into small doughs of 10g each and knead them into round shapes;

7: Roll it into a big hammer shape;

8: Place it on a baking tray, then press the "hammer head" with your thumb to make it concave and become a spoon shape.

9: Finally, preheat the oven to 160°C, rub all the spoons in turn, and place them in a staggered manner to save space. Bake in the middle of the oven for 15-20 minutes. When the surface of the biscuits turns slightly yellow, they are ready.

Italian Nut Cookies

Material

50g butter, 50g granulated sugar, 1/4 spoon salt, 250g low-gluten flour, 1/8 spoon baking soda, 1 egg, 100g pistachios, almonds and other nuts

1. Soften the butter at room temperature until it can be pressed into small holes with your fingers. Preheat oven to 170 degrees.

2. Add sugar and salt to the butter and mix well with a rubber spatula.

3. Add sifted flour and pre-beaten eggs.

4. After mixing it evenly with your hands, pour in all the nuts. Continue kneading with your hands until the dough is smooth and not sticky.

5. Shape the dough into a rectangle about 5 cm thick and bake in the oven at 170 degrees for 20 minutes until it is 70% cooked.

6. After the dough has completely cooled, cut it into slices about 1 cm thick, put it into an oven preheated to 150 degrees, and bake it for 15-20 minutes to dry it.

Tips

1. If you like a firmer texture, you don’t need to add baking soda. 2. Add nuts according to your favorite flavor, peanuts, walnuts, and macadamia nuts are all fine. It is good for expectant mothers to eat more nuts. 3. The baked dough must be completely cooled from the inside out before cutting so that it will be flat.
