3.2 Filling: Remove the stems of mushrooms and chop them. Soak and chop bean curd sheets, put them into the pot, add oil and stir-fry until fragrant. Chop the cabbage, add appropriate amount of salt and let it stand for a while to remove the moisture, then squeeze out the moisture with your hands and mix well with mushrooms and bean curd sheets. Because the cabbage has been salted, you need to taste it and add salt or not according to the situation, then add other soy sauce, sugar, white pepper powder and mix well.

4. Frying: If you are more particular, you can cover the wrapped buns with plastic wrap or a basin and let them rest for about 20 minutes to make the dough softer (optional). Heat a flat non-stick pan, add a little oil, put the buns in the pan and heat on low heat for two minutes. When the bottom turns golden brown, add half a small bowl of water to the pot and quickly cover the pot. A lot of steam will be generated at this time. Continue to heat on low heat for about 5 minutes and use the steam to simmer the buns.
