How to make salted eggs

1. First, put a handful of fresh longan leaves into the pot and boil the water. Then, let the water cool.

2. Put a lot of salt into the clay pot. Then stir the cooled longan water into the salt solution.

3. Then soak the eggs in the salt water, making sure each egg is soaked in salt water. Cover and soak for about 2 weeks. Take a salted egg, boil it and eat it to see if it is salty enough. You can continue to soak it. Or you can add some more salt and soak it again to make it salty faster. But if you feel that it is not enough or too salty after eating one, you should quickly take out the salted egg and put it in the refrigerator.

4. This is the salted egg I made at home. The yolk is oily and the egg white is very smooth. If you make your own salted eggs, you don’t have to go out and buy them, and you don’t have to worry about whether the merchant uses industrial salt or other chemical substances. Anyway, it’s fun to cook and safe to eat.
