What to cook with winter melon

Duck and Winter Melon Soup

Ingredients: 5 duck wings, 1 slice of winter melon, 1 piece of young ginger, a few duck meatballs, salt and white pepper. Step 1: Prepare ingredients: cut winter melon into pieces, young ginger, duck wings (rinse twice with hot water), duck meatballs. Step 2: Put all ingredients into the inner pot and add cold water to about 70% full. The outer pot and inner pot should be about 400cc of water and start stewing. Clam and Winter Melon Soup

Ingredients: 400g winter melon, 500g clams, 1000g water. Method: Peel the winter melon, wash the clams and set aside. Heat a clay pot, add oil, throw in the clams and stir-fry for two or three minutes. Then throw in the winter melon and stir-fry together with the clams. Then add [seasoning] a little salt to taste. Pour in water or chicken broth. I made a portion for three people, so I just filled it up with the ingredients. After the water boils, turn to medium or low heat, medium heat is best, and simmer for 5-10 minutes, until all the clams are open. After they are open, add [seasoning] salt to taste, and when it's done, you can turn off the heat. When serving, you can cover it to let the flavor settle.
