9. Stir until a thin paste appears on a wooden spoon. Run a finger along the surface of the mixture and the paste will not flow or close. The jam is ready. Scoop out the required jam and put it into a heat-resistant container while it is still hot. The hawthorn jam is ready.

10. Continue to heat the remaining fruit paste until the wooden spoon can be covered with thick paste and the fruit paste has poor fluidity, then turn off the heat;

11. Put it into a heat-resistant container with a layer of salad oil while it is still hot;

12. After it has cooled completely, pour it out and it becomes hawthorn cake!
