Can yogurt and milk be drunk together?

Yogurt tastes sweet and delicious, and is rich in nutrients. The probiotics it contains can help adjust the balance of E. coli in the human intestine, which is beneficial to digestion and gastrointestinal motility. Milk is accepted by people not only because of its high nutritional value, but also because it is our "food" and is suitable for people of all walks of life. So can milk and yogurt be consumed together? What side effects will occur when they are consumed together?

Yogurt and milk can be drunk together. Yogurt is a product made by adding lactic acid bacteria to milk, so the nutritional value of both is very high. Don't drink expired yogurt or expired milk. They can be used as skin care products. For example, expired yogurt can be used to directly apply to the face. When making a yogurt mask, you can add a small amount of flour and mix it, and then spread it on the face. Just leave the mask on for 15 minutes and then wash it off.

The main raw material of yogurt is fresh milk, so it has nothing to do with eating and drinking it together with milk. Yogurt is a dairy product made by sterilizing milk, adding intestinal probiotics, and then fermenting it. Yogurt is different from fermented milk, which is an acid-alkaline milk beverage. Fermented milk is an acid-alkaline milk beverage, which mainly uses fresh milk or dairy products as raw materials, while yogurt is a dairy product made after fermentation of milk.

What can’t be eaten with yogurt?

Nowadays, many people do not regard yogurt as a drink, but just a delicious food. It seems that yogurt and many foods are very nutritious, especially breakfast with bread and snacks, which tastes good and is very nutritious. But in fact, yogurt cannot be eaten with all foods.

1. Banana and Apple

Bananas are rich in nutrients and have a certain effect on improving cardiovascular function. But yogurt cannot be eaten with bananas and apples. Eating bananas, apples and yogurt together can easily produce carcinogens. Some people with weak spleen and stomach who are prone to diarrhea are more likely to have abdominal pain and diarrhea after drinking yogurt just taken out of the refrigerator and adding bananas and apples, which are "intestinal moisturizing" foods that promote gastrointestinal motility.

2. Soybeans

Yogurt is rich in high-quality protein, and the organic components contained in soybeans affect the digestion of calcium. Therefore, try not to eat yogurt with soybeans.

3. Medicines

Some medicines cannot be taken with yogurt, including stomach pain medicine, antibiotics, iron supplements and blood sugar-lowering drugs. Some people are accustomed to taking medicine with porridge, drinks, or even yogurt as water, which should also be minimized. If there is too much yogurt, the digestive tract will be more acidic and alkaline, and the total mixed layer of solution-based drugs such as total mixed tablets and enteric-coated capsules may be destroyed, affecting their efficacy. Therefore, it is recommended that when taking these medicines, it is best to separate the time of taking the medicine and yogurt by more than 2 hours.

4. Sausage

People who often eat sandwiches with yogurt for breakfast should be careful. The sausages, bacon, etc. in the sandwiches and lactic acid drinks (containing citric acid) are very likely to cause cancer when consumed together. In order to preserve processed meat products such as sausages, bacon, and bacon, food manufacturers add phosphates to prevent food spoilage and meat growth. When phosphate meets citric acid (lactic acid bacteria, sodium citrate, tartaric acid, malic acid, etc.), it will change into nitrite, a carcinogen. Therefore, it is not suitable to drink yogurt within 1 hour before or after eating foods containing phosphates.

Yogurt should not be drunk warm or on an empty stomach.

Once the yogurt is heated, many active lactic acid bacteria in it will be killed, which not only loses its nutritional value and health care function, but also changes the physical properties of the yogurt, causing it to precipitate and the unique taste disappears. Therefore, yogurt should not be heated. It should be made and drunk immediately in summer, while it can be placed at room temperature for a certain period of time before consumption in winter.
