(4) Cooking wine can be replaced with white wine according to your taste to remove the fishy smell and achieve better results.

Method 3 Ingredients: 500g fresh crucian carp.

Method/Steps 1. Wash the crucian carp, cut into pieces and set aside. 2. Cut the green onion into sections and set aside. 3. Put water in the soup pot, add ginger slices and bring to a boil. 4. Add crucian carp pieces after the water boils. 5. Bring to a boil over high heat and add salt and chicken essence. 6. Finally, add the scallion segments and it’s ready to serve. Note: Crucian carp should not be cooked for too long, otherwise the meat will become tough.
