Food is the most important thing for people, so a healthy body is of course inseparable from nutritious and delicious food. Chinese food pays attention to color, aroma and taste. If you want to eat delicious food, good cooking skills are of course indispensable. Today I will introduce the method of Hong Kong-style crystal shrimp dumplings to friends who like cooking!

1. Chop the pork fat into fine pieces, chop the yam into small pieces, and chop the coriander for later use. Shell the shrimps, remove the shrimp intestines, wash them clean, drain the water, and cut into thick pieces.

2. Add salt and cornstarch powder to the shrimp and mix well (1 part salt and 3 parts cornstarch).

3. Keep scraping until it becomes sticky (look around the bowl, it must be sticky).

4. Then add the chopped pork fat and jicama.

5. First add sesame oil to the mushroom powder and knead evenly.

6. Add evenly kneaded mushroom powder into the filling.

7. After stirring, add salt, lard, sugar, and finally add coriander and mix well. (Added in order)

8. Now you can make the skin. First pour 200 grams of starch into a bowl (please add strictly according to the number of grams).

9. Add 60g of chestnut powder and mix well.

10. After mixing well, slowly add boiling water, stirring while adding boiling water. Do not add boiling water all at once (this is very important)

11. After the powder in the bowl is stirred evenly (no particles), you can add the last 140g of hawk chestnut powder.

12. Stir into small balls and press on the cutting board.

13. To fold it repeatedly means to fold it layer by layer repeatedly.

14. Divide into small groups.

15. Flatten the small balls.

16. Then use your hands to press the skin into an even flat shape, and then you can wrap it (the chef said that if you use a rolling pin, the skin will be too hard when steamed, so they press it flat with their palms)

17. Bring the water to a boil in a pot.

18. After the water boils, place the steamer on to preheat.

19. Preheat the steamer until steam comes out and put the shrimp dumplings in.

20. Steam for 5 minutes (do not remove the lid during steaming).

21. Sweet, juicy and fragrant delicious crystal shrimp dumplings are born!
