Orange Custard Breakfast Pancake Recipe

1. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius, and line a 10-inch x 8.5-inch baking pan with baking paper (the baking pan I used for this photo is slightly smaller, so the baked pan is slightly thicker)

2. Mix all the pancake ingredients into a smooth batter (except the extra sugar), then pour into the prepared baking pan, sprinkle with extra sugar on the surface, and bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes

3. Prepare orange syrup during the baking process: peel one of the oranges and remove the white membrane to get the pure flesh and set aside

4. Juice the other two oranges

5. Then pour it into a small soup pot, add sugar, and cook over medium heat. When the water content starts to decrease significantly, turn to low heat to reduce the juice into syrup.

6. Add the prepared pulp and continue to cook over low heat for 5 minutes.

7. Let it cool slightly and set aside

8. Take the pancake out of the oven after it is baked. It will expand very high during the baking process and shrink after it is taken out of the oven.

9. When eating, cut the baked pancake into small pieces, sprinkle a little cinnamon powder, and then pour orange syrup on it. You can also scrape some orange peel for decoration.
