Double Crispy Puff Pie Recipe

Double Crispy Puff Pie Recipe

For middle-aged and elderly people, half of their life can be said to have passed. In the remaining life, all we need to do is enjoy life. Enjoying life starts with the details of life, such as three meals a day. Many middle-aged and elderly people have not enjoyed many delicacies. Let me introduce how to make the double crispy puff pie dish.

1.12 Add butter, milk and water to a small saucepan and heat over low heat.

2.21 Heat until the butter melts and the liquid starts to boil. Remove from heat.

3. Mix the powders in advance and sift them, pour them into the pot, stir quickly and evenly. It is best to stir with a wooden spoon to avoid leaving a metallic taste. Heat again until a thin film forms on the bottom of the pot and turn off the heat.

4. Beat the eggs and pour them into the batter at about 60 degrees in small amounts several times, stirring with a wooden spoon while pouring until the egg liquid is completely absorbed and then pour it again.

5. Stir evenly until the batter becomes shiny and can be hooked into an inverted triangle shape.

6. Pour the batter into a piping bag, cut a small 1cm hole, and squeeze out 8 dough balls on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Theoretically, there are 8, but I squeezed in a lot of small ones...

7. Dip your finger in water and smooth the tip of the top. Put the baking tray into the freezer for 2 hours

8. Take the pie crust, cut it into suitable sizes and poke small holes with a fork. I cut mine too small and forgot to pierce the holes, so it burst out... You can also cut it bigger to completely cover it. Anyway, each has its own flavor. It depends on personal preference. The cut corners of the pie crust can be used as tart crust. After the puff batter is frozen, take it out and put the dough on a piece of pie crust.

9. Fold the four corners like a quilt, pinch it tightly, put it in a baking tray, spray water on the surface, put it in a preheated oven at 200 degrees, and bake for about 30 minutes. Remember not to open the oven door during the process, otherwise it will not grow. Also, try to evenly distribute the dough in the baking pan to make the pressure in the oven more even, especially for large ovens. Small ovens should not be a big problem.
