Cranberry Walnut Holiday Bread Recipe

Now that people’s lives are better, they have become more careful about what they eat. In the past, people ate to fill their stomachs. Nowadays people eat it to prolong their life. So, how can we use "eating" to prolong our life? You still have to achieve it by yourself. Now, I will introduce the method of making cranberry walnut holiday bread.

2.2 Mix flour, sugar, salt, yeast, add essence, eggs, butter, milk, water and mix well to form dough. Knead until the dough is smooth without forming a film. I kneaded my KA hook-shaped head at the third gear for about 6 minutes. Add dried cranberries and knead for 2 minutes until evenly incorporated. Add chopped walnuts and carefully knead into the dough

3. Shape it into 3 braids, or other braid shapes. I tried a new round braid: divide it into 6 even parts and roll it into long strips. Flip the top three down, and pass the right three under the bottom three, pressing on the top three that were flipped down in the previous step.

4. The three lines on the left are placed above the three lines that were moved in the previous step. My dough is not long enough, otherwise I could braid it 2 or 3 more times, it would look better. At this point I can only pinch all the ends of the noodles together, lift them up, pinch the other end together, turn them upside down, and make a round ball with a bow tie pattern.

5. Brush with egg wash, do not cover with plastic wrap, and ferment for 60 to 90 minutes at room temperature until it doubles in size
