How to make sugar tea cookies

1. After softening the butter, gently beat until smooth. Add powdered sugar

2. Stir well to blend the powdered sugar and butter

3. Add salt and stir well

4. Add the beaten egg liquid in two batches and stir well. Be sure to stir until the egg liquid and butter are fully blended

5. Add milk in two batches and stir well. Be careful to stir thoroughly to avoid oil and water separation

6. Add vanilla extract (if any) and mix well

7. After mixing, the butter paste should be smooth, delicate, uniform, and slightly expanded in volume.

8. Sift in flour and baking powder

9. Knead the dough with your hands

10. Roll it into a 0.3cm thick slice and cut off the corners to make a rectangle

11. Cut into small even cubes with a knife

12. Brush a layer of milk on the surface and sprinkle some coarse sugar. Arrange on a baking tray, preheat the oven to 190 degrees, place the baking tray in the middle layer of the oven, and bake for about 10 minutes until the cookies are slightly yellow.
