The preparation of Duchess potatoes is not as complicated as people think. Prepare the tableware and seasonings first. Then start following the steps and remember to control the heat well.

1. Peel the potatoes, cut into thin slices, wash them, do not dry them, put them on a plate, microwave on high heat for 4 minutes, turn over and continue cooking for another 4 minutes until soft. Press into mud

2. Put the butter in the microwave on high heat for 1 minute until it melts, pour 2/3 of it into the mashed potatoes (brush the surface with the rest at the end), add the egg yolk and mix well

3. Add shredded carrots, salt and black pepper and mix well. Put into piping bag

4. Squeeze the large chrysanthemum mouths onto the baking tray and brush with butter. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees, middle layer, top and bottom heat, 20 minutes
