Homemade chicken steak recipe

The delicious and tempting fried chicken steaks sold outside, such as big chicken steaks, crispy chicken steaks, and crispy chicken steaks, attract the appetites of many chicken-loving diners. However, buying chicken chops not only costs a lot, but sometimes you have to wait in line for a long time to buy them. It would be better to make your own chicken chops at home and enjoy the delicious taste. The homemade method of making fried chicken steak is actually very simple. You can make it at home by just buying a few main ingredients from the vegetable market.

1. Homemade chicken steak

Ingredients: a piece of chicken breast, an egg, a little cooking wine, an appropriate amount of starch, an appropriate amount of breadcrumbs, a section of scallion, a slice of ginger, a small spoonful of honey, a little soy sauce, a little salt, and a large spoonful of oyster sauce.

1. Slice the chicken breast into large pieces, use the back of a knife to cut the tendons, and use a fork to poke holes in them to make it easier to flavor.

2. Chop the scallion and ginger, put them into the chicken, then add cooking wine, salt, oyster sauce, soy sauce and honey, and marinate for more than 15 minutes.

3. Coat the marinated chicken with starch, egg liquid and breadcrumbs respectively.

4. Heat the pan, add oil, and put the coated chicken fillet in when it is 50% hot.

2. Crispy Chicken Fillet

Ingredients: 250 grams of chicken breast, 10 grams of flour, 20 grams of breadcrumbs, 2 eggs, appropriate amount of salad oil, 3 grams of salt, 5 grams of green onion, 5 grams of ginger, 5 grams of garlic, 3 grams of oyster sauce, 30 grams of tomato sauce, 2 grams of pepper, 2 grams of sugar, and 2 grams of five-spice powder.

1. Wash the chicken breast and cut it into thin slices with a knife. Use a meat hammer to beat the chopped chicken breast until it increases in volume to about 1.5-2 times its original size.

2. Put ginger, onion, garlic and a little water into a blender and blend into juice. Pour the beaten juice into a large bowl, add salt, pepper, sugar, five-spice powder and oyster sauce to season and mix well.

3. Put the processed meat in the mixed sauce, knead it lightly with your hands, and marinate for 1 hour. Take a large flat plate and pour flour into it. Evenly coat the marinated chicken with flour.

4. Coat with beaten egg. After coating with egg liquid, apply a layer of bread crumbs. Pour a proper amount of oil into the pan, enough to cover the chicken fillet. Put the chicken fillet in when the oil is 60% hot.

5. Fry over medium-low heat until both sides are golden brown. After taking it out, place it on oil-absorbing paper to absorb the excess oil on the surface. Cut into strips and serve hot with tomato sauce.

3. Homemade Crispy Chicken Fillet

Ingredients: a whole piece of chicken breast, appropriate amount of white pepper, appropriate amount of salt, appropriate amount of chili powder, 2 eggs, appropriate amount of cornstarch (or fried chicken powder) in a plate.

1. Cut a whole piece of chicken breast horizontally into two large pieces. If the chicken breast is very thick, cut it into 3 pieces. Use the back of a knife to pat it apart. Sprinkle salt evenly, sprinkle white pepper and red pepper powder.

2. Beat the eggs in a bowl and add oil to the pan. The amount of oil depends on how many chicken cutlets you want to fry. Test the oil temperature with chopsticks.

3. First apply a layer of egg liquid, then a layer of flour, then egg liquid and then a layer of flour. This is done twice to get a delicious crispy texture.

4. Don't use too high a heat. Fry one side until it's formed and then turn the other side over. Don't be in a hurry to turn it over, as it will lose powder if you turn it over and over again.
