How to make fried squid with Chu Hou sauce

If you want to make delicious food, you must prepare all the necessary ingredients, seasonings, and tableware. Of course, the most important thing is to control the heat. After all this is prepared, we will start making the fried squid flowers with Chu Hou sauce.

1. Main ingredients: one squid. Side ingredients: coriander, red pepper, garlic, ginger. Seasoning: Chu Hou sauce, soy sauce, salt, cooking wine.

2.1 Boil water in a pot. After the water boils, pour in a little salt and cooking wine to remove the fishy smell. Then quickly put the cut squid strips into the pot and blanch them. Then quickly take them out. The time should not exceed 20 seconds. In this way, the beautiful squid flowers will be formed. Put the blanched squid flowers into the water and rinse them clean for later use.

3.2 Remove the squid head, cut open the squid, remove the internal organs, and discard the squid skin. With the inner wall of the squid facing upwards, cut parallel patterns at a 45-degree angle until the meat is three-quarters thick. Then turn it 90 degrees and cut vertically. Once the whole squid is cut, cut it into triangles or strips along the lines.

4.1 After the sauce is fried, turn on high heat and quickly add the blanched squid flowers into the pot and stir-fry

5.2 Heat oil in a pan and sauté minced garlic, minced ginger, red pepper slices and other seasonings until fragrant. Add 2 spoons of Chu Hou sauce and fry over low heat until fragrant.

6. Add appropriate amount of cooking wine, soy sauce and salt for seasoning

7. Sprinkle coriander stems before serving
