Wenchang City is located in the northern tropical coastal zone, with tropical and subtropical climate characteristics and a tropical monsoon island climate. The annual average temperature is 23.9℃, and the annual minimum temperature is 0.3-6.6℃, which occurs in January. The average annual sunshine hours is 1953.8 hours.
