1. Guizao Yam Soup

12 red dates, about 300 grams of yam, 2 tablespoons of longan meat, and 1/2 cup of sugar. Soak the red dates until soft, peel and dice the yam, put them all into clean water and bring to a boil. Cook until soft, then add longan meat and sugar for seasoning. When the longan pulp has been cooked until it is loose, you can turn off the heat and serve. Yam has the function of nourishing the spleen and stomach; longan and red dates have the effect of benefiting qi and blood, and strengthening the spleen and stomach.

2. Perilla, ginger and red dates soup

10 grams of fresh perilla leaves, 3 pieces of ginger, 15 grams of red dates. First wash the red dates in clean water, then remove the date pits, and then cut the ginger into slices. Cut the fresh perilla leaves into shreds, put them into a casserole filled with warm water together with ginger slices and red dates and cook over high heat. After the pot boils, simmer over low heat for 30 minutes. Then remove the perilla leaves and ginger slices and continue to simmer for 15 minutes. This soup has the effect of warming the stomach and dispelling cold, aiding digestion and promoting qi circulation.

3. Pepper pork belly soup

30 to 50 white peppercorns, 1 pork stomach, a little salt, cooking wine and MSG. First wash the pig's stomach (you can add salt, vinegar and blanch it with boiling water), pour water into the pot, put the pig's stomach pieces (or shreds) into the pot, add white pepper, and simmer for about two hours. When the soup is thick and the stomach is tender, add salt, cooking wine and MSG and it is ready to eat. This soup can be consumed before meals. Pepper is warm in nature and has the effect of warming the middle and dispersing cold; pig tripe has the effect of strengthening the stomach and nourishing the stomach.

4. Seaweed Pumpkin Soup

Ingredients: 100 grams of old pumpkin, 10 grams of seaweed, 20 grams of dried shrimps, 1 egg, and appropriate amounts of soy sauce, lard, rice wine, vinegar, MSG, and sesame oil.

Preparation method: First soak the seaweed in water, wash it, beat the eggs in a bowl and mix well, soak the dried shrimp in rice wine, peel and remove the pumpkin, wash and cut into pieces; then put the pot on the fire, pour in lard, after heating, add soy sauce to the pot, add appropriate amount of water, put in the dried shrimp and pumpkin pieces, cook for about 30 minutes, then add the seaweed, after 10 minutes, pour the beaten egg liquid into the pot, add seasonings and mix well. This soup has the effect of protecting the liver, nourishing the kidneys and strengthening the body.
