How long to cook beef dumplings

There are many raw materials for making dumplings, and almost any edible ingredient can be used to make dumpling fillings. People’s favorite dumpling fillings are mainly traditional ingredients. Among them, beef-filled dumplings are a very popular filling. They have excellent taste and mouthfeel and are deeply loved by people. However, beef needs to be cooked for a long time. Let’s take a look at how long it is best to cook beef-filled dumplings?

Ten minutes after the water boils, there is another trick that I have tried and it works. After the water boils, cook until the dumplings are inflated, then turn to low heat or add a small amount of cold water. The dumplings will shrink as the temperature drops and the swelling disappears. Then cook again over high heat until the dumplings are inflated. In this way, the dumplings are cooked after the third time they are inflated.

How to make beef and celery dumplings:

1. Add a little salt to the flour and knead it into dough with warm water. Cover it with a lid and let it sit for 20 minutes.

2. Add cooking wine to the beef filling and stir the broth in one direction (water can be used instead if there is no broth) to allow the broth to blend into the meat filling. This will make the filling taste better.

Other matters:

1. It takes about ten minutes, depending on the number of dumplings.

2. Quick-frozen dumplings are harder to cook than freshly made ones. They take longer to cook and the heat must be properly controlled.

3. The specific process is as follows:

(1) Add water to a pot and bring to a boil over high heat.

(2) When the water boils, add a small spoonful of salt (to prevent the skin of the quick-frozen dumplings from rotting).

(3) Then add the frozen dumplings and stir them along the edge of the pot with the back of a spoon to prevent them from sticking.

(4) Cover the pot and add a small spoonful of cold water after it boils.

(5) Cover the pot again. After it boils again, turn to low heat.

(6) Leave the lid on for about a minute and then serve. (To be on the safe side, you can take one out and taste it beforehand.)

Other methods:

Generally speaking, how long it takes to steam dumplings depends on whether you have meat or vegetarian filling. Vegetarian dumplings take less time, only 15 minutes. If you have meat filling, you need to steam it longer to prevent the filling from being undercooked. It takes 20 minutes.
