How to make homemade curry rice

1. Of course, you have to cook the rice first. It would be embarrassing if there is no rice when the curry is ready.

2. Wash and peel all the ingredients

3. Cut onion into strips, carrots and potatoes into cubes in order. Soak the potatoes in water after cutting to prevent them from turning black.

4. Prepare a clean pot, heat the pot, add a small amount of oil, and turn to medium heat after the oil is heated.

5. Add the meat slices and use medium heat. Do not stir-fry until the red color of the meat disappears.

6. Then, add onions, carrots, and potatoes and fry until fragrant, also over medium heat.

7. Turn on high heat, add 750ml of water, bring to a boil, remove the foam on the water surface, then cover the pot, turn to low heat and cook for 20 minutes (usually 15 minutes in summer is enough). It depends on personal preference. If you like to eat it softer, cook it for a while longer, if you like to eat it crispier, reduce the cooking time.

8. Add half a box of curry cubes (100 grams). I used the curry cubes that my friend brought back from abroad. They were very fragrant and slightly spicy. Generally speaking, you can buy such curry cubes in large supermarkets. You can choose the spiciness level yourself.

9. After the curry cubes are put into the pot, turn to low heat and stir until the curry cubes melt.

10. After the curry cubes are fully melted, cook for a little while longer, about 2 minutes, to allow the ingredients to absorb the flavors. Keep stirring during this process, otherwise it will stick to the pot.

11. When the curry is almost done, the rice is also ready, so put it on a plate. If you forget to buy green vegetables at home, you can add some green vegetables such as broccoli, coriander, etc. to garnish it, it will look more tempting. It will taste better with some kimchi. I'm not at home today, so I didn't take any photos.
