How to make spicy flower rolls

7. The fermented dough will be in a honeycomb shape.

9. While waiting for the dough to rise, prepare the spicy oil. Place chili powder, chopped green onion, five-spice powder and salt in a heat-resistant bowl.

12. Degas the dough and knead it into a smooth ball. Take half and roll it into a rectangular slice.

13. Apply spicy oil evenly.

14. Roll up from one end and roll it into a long strip.

15. After rolling, press lightly with your hands and cut into small pieces.

16. Twist it into the shape you want and place it on an oiled steamer to let it rise again to 1.5 times its original size. (This wake-up is the most critical)

17. Steam in a steamer over high heat for 10 minutes. (I have tried it many times, as long as the second proofing is done, there is no need to steam it for a few more minutes, just open the lid directly)
