How to make Zongzi for Dragon Boat Festival

1. Marinate the pork belly with cooking wine, soy sauce and five-spice powder for 5 hours. Wash the glutinous rice and soak it in water for 5 hours. Wash and soak red beans, mung beans, and millet in advance. Wash and soak mushrooms and dried shrimps in advance.

2. Wash the rice dumplings leaves and disinfect them with boiling water.

3. Let the leaves dry, but don’t let any water drip off. If they are too dry, it will be difficult to wrap.

4. Add glutinous rice, peanuts, millet, red beans, marinated pork belly soup, sesame oil, a little salt and mix well.

6. Take two pieces of zong leaves and make them into a funnel shape

7. Put a layer of glutinous rice first

10. Wrap into diamond shape

11. Tie the rope tightly

12. Add water to the pot and bring to a boil, then cook over medium heat for 2 hours
